How Nuclear Power Plants Create Energy;

Nuclear energy works on the same basic principal as boiling water; by controlling the radioactive nuclear fission process, it creates immense energy and heat that is used to bring pumped-in water in the core to the boiling point, and the boiling water produces steam that turns a turbine, which then generates electricity from mechanical motion. It’s an expensive and dangerous process used to boil water to generate steam.

This same steam energy used to power steam trains; and Thomas Newcomen’s atmospheric engine, invented in 1712, became one of the primary driving technologies of the industrial revolution in the early 1700′s. This is why nuclear power plants are built beside large bodies of water because they need all that water to pump in and generate steam. The actual energy created from nuclear power plants is generated by steam only, NOT from the same atomic energy released when a nuclear bomb is detonated.

Nuclear power plants are using outdated 300 year-old steam turbine principles to extract only a tiny fraction of the total potential energy from the nuclear fission process and dangers of Fukuashima Fallout is only one of glimpses of destructive realities facing humankind in the near future. Is the danger of nuclear disasters and radioactive waste storage worth the risk?

Video Subjects on Fukuashima Fallout Radiation:

New book about Chernobyl nuclear disaster translating official Russian documents into English; 1 million people have died of direct Chernobyl radiation exposure which is affecting surrounding areas in Europe to this day.

WHO (World Health Organization) and IAEA (International Atomic and Energy Agency)

Japan many times worse than Chernobyl

Canada is the biggest exporter of uranium in the world

Fallout from Fukushima drops to earth when it rains, plants and animals concentrate the radiated elements so our food and water supply is contaminated

Consider other existing sources of nuclear radiation like the thousands of nuclear bomb tests performed around the world for the last 60 years, bombs detonated high in the atmosphere, above ground, below ground, and under water, by countries such as U.S. of A., Russia, and Chine to name a few. Consider the thousands of depleted uranium shells used to fire bullets in Iraq and Afghanistan; this means that depleted uranium waste from nuclear power plant facilities is added to the gun power mix in bullet casings. After the gun fires the bullet the depleted uranium that is still measureably radioactive, is released into the atmosphere and the spent bullet is left behind

Radiation causes cancer in humans and deforms babies born from contaminated mothers
