Recent Effects of BP Oil Spill: on Far Beaches 0
Unfortunately many people are under the impression that just because the mainstream media has stopped reporting the disastrous effects of the BP oil spill and that the oil spill was cheerfully “capped”, the environmental effects of this massive disaster no longer bears any substantial consequences.
This naive and regrettably popular attitude cannot be further from the truth.
The affects of BP oil spill is still being felt in near and far areas of the North America such as the US East Ship Island. The effects are also alarmingly present so far away as coasts of Nigeria in Africa – that is tens of thousands of miles away. Following is a crime scene video produced by Mark Floegel, a senior Greenpeace investigator, who shows BP’s oil spill residues in form of tar balls or tar cake, which are the destructive after effects of this disaster hundreds of miles away from the oil spill.
Mr. Floegel also talks will Dr. Rich Steiner, a professor and conservation specialist at the university of Alaska, who digs deeper into the outcome and consequences of the BP oil spill disaster.
Watch DR. Rick Steiner and Mark Floegel discuss oil spill disaster:
These are the types of stories folks that CNN, Fox News and BBC won’t tell you. Aside from the effects of the BP oil spill how about the recent nuclear disaster in Japan? Should we be alarmed folks? I would be more alarmed about those hiding of the facts than the disastrous facts themselves.
So what can we do? Inform ourselves and inform others.
