It is disappointing to see the swell of vitriol of those who would question the official story of the 9/11 attacks. Blind obeisance to the government and to the mainstream media denotes neither intelligence nor patriotism. Indeed, it’s the admission of difficult questions of our institutions of authority into the public forum and the rigorous, honorable debate of these questions that are the hallmarks of an educated and patriotic citizenry.
Ponder for a moment that the official account of the events of September 11 is itself, a conspiracy theory. The official story holds that 19 hijackers, acting under orders of Osama Bin Ladin, and supported by a network of Al Qaeda operatives, conspired to attack the United States; irrefutably a conspiracy, by definition. Blame for the attacks was being laid at Osama Bin Laden’s feet while the twin towers still stood burning, before any reasonable factual investigation could have possibly begun; irrefutably a theory, by definition.
The officials continued by theorizing how 19 hijackers, who by all accounts could not fly even the simplest of aircraft, took control of four aircraft and successfully piloted three into high value targets, including the heart of the most alert and technologically advanced military in the world. The officials have theorized how the asymmetrical impact of aircraft into towers built to withstand impact from comparable aircraft, and the subsequent heat of burning jet fuel, led to the improbable symmetrical collapse of said towers. The officials have theorized that World Trade Center Building 7, not hit by any aircraft, collapsed symmetrically into its own footprint due to scattered fires on a few floors and asymmetrical debris damage.
It should be a challenge to anyone who cries foul at the suggestion that the official story of 9/11 is a falsehood to watch “loose change” documentary (found at the bottom of this article), visit www.911truth.com or pay a visit to Scholars for 9/11 Truth and Justice website www.stj911.org
Read thoroughly and with an open mind, no matter how unpalatable you may initially find the task to be. In the first intervening years after 9/11 I, too, thought that the U.S. government investigation was sound, and that it was justified in taking any action to protect the country.
To those whose eyes are already open to the lies with which we continue to be inundated: continue the good fight and never falter or become disheartened.
Blessings and peace to the family and friends of the souls lost on September 11, 2001.
